Perma Jack Company was started in 1974 by Mr. George Langenbach in St. Louis, Missouri. The company was created in response to the need for an efficient and cost-effective means for stabilizing and repairing building and basement foundations. George came up with the idea of using hydraulically driven steel piers to bedrock to support a foundation’s footing. This method of foundation repair was the first patented method developed for this industry. George sold the business in 1986 to Tim Tucker where it was family owned and operated until 2021. In 2021 Perma Jack of St. Louis was sold to Chris Jackson who’s passion for providing homeowners with trustworthy service has been the focus of his ownership. The company still remains family owned and operated as Chris spends his days working directly with Perma Jack customers to find solutions for their homes.
